Dr. Hunter offers secure, confidential in-person and virtual therapy sessions designed to provide flexble, accessive and effective support to clients who are located within states who participate in PSYPACT. Through a HIPAA-compliant video platform, clients receive the same level of care, connection, and clinicial expertise as they would in person.

Dr. Hunter is located in Fairfax, Virginia and is accepting new clients. She offers both online and in-person sessions with availability often within a week to two week period of time.

Individual Therapy
Dr. Hunter works with teens and adults in individual therapy. She specializes in anxiety related issues, mood regulation issues, ADHD. grief and loss, chronic medical conditions, adjustment to life transitions.
She uses skills from CBT, ERP, attachment theory, psychodynamic theory
Psychological Testing
Dr. Hunter's administers brief assessments and full battery psychological testing ro provide insight and recommendations for personal development, academic planning goals, treatment planning, and accommodations if needed. Her specialties include ADHD testing.

Couples Therapy
Dr. Hunter provides couples and/or family therapy in-person or virtual sessions. She establishes a safe and supportive environment for couples and families to work through their challenges.
Dr. Hunter uses evidence-based techniques:

These are used to foster improved communication, develop conflict resolution skills, and to identify and change patterns. ​
Group Therapy
Dr. Hunter has run several groups, including her teen girls group to provide a safe environment for clients to process challenging issues such and anxiety, ADHD, and relationship issues, with a group of peers.
Payment & Insurance

Dr. Hunter accepts private pay and does not accept insurance. She provides a "Superbill" after payment includes ALL information needed for clients to submit for reimbursement to their insurance plan.
